Digital Matter is the leading publisher partner in the Baltics, providing data-driven advertising, monetization, and adtech solutions across premium websites in the region and beyond. We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Head of AdOps to lead and scale our growing Ad Operations team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced digital media environment, combines technical know-how with team leadership, and is eager to shape the future of online advertising operations in our company.

 

Your Mission

As Head of Ad Ops, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the AdOps team, setting clear goals, supporting professional growth, and creating a strong team culture.
  • Ensure smooth, accurate, and timely execution of advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (Google Ad Manager, DV360, Adform, Piano DMP, etc.).
  • Optimize team workflows and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Media planning, Publisher and Development teams to support cross-functional projects and strategic goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges, technical issues, and delivery discrepancies.
  • Be the escalation point and lead contact for Tier1 clients, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Support the development and onboarding of new ad technologies and tools.

 

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in digital advertising operations, ideally with a publisher-side focus;
  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing a team in a digital environment;
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a can-do attitude;
  • Fluency in English; Other European languages are a plus.

 

Bonus points for:

  • Understanding of ad servers (Google Ad Manager), programmatic platforms (DV360, Adform), and DMPs (Piano or similar);
  • Technical proficiency with ad tags, creative formats, campaign setup, and troubleshooting;
  • Basic HTML/JS.
