Head of Sales

Digital Matter is the leading publisher partner, offering data-driven online display advertising solutions across premium websites in Baltics and CEE. We’re expanding our sales team in Vilnius and seeking an experienced, proactive Head of Sales to drive revenue growth and manage our talented sales professionals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Client and Agency Management: Cultivate relationships with local and global media agencies by understanding their needs, developing tailored offers, and presenting impactful advertising solutions.
  • Revenue Growth: Own and drive revenue growth by identifying sales opportunities and aligning team resources to capture them.
  • Sales Process Oversight: Oversee the entire sales lifecycle, from deal management to value-based selling, ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach the Sales Team to reach individual and team performance goals, fostering a results-driven environment.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to keep the team aligned with industry trends and identify growth areas.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms to close deals effectively and meet company objectives.
  • Training and Development: Organize coaching sessions and develop tools to support continuous improvement and knowledge growth within the team.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Create, monitor, and maintain the sales pipeline, providing regular revenue forecasts and updates.
  • Client Acquisition and Portfolio Growth: Actively pursue new client acquisition to grow the client portfolio and achieve monthly and quarterly targets.

 

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in digital media, sales, or marketing, with a proven track record in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Language: Proficient in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Mindset: Results-oriented with a “can-do” approach and a passion for creating success stories.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working independently and taking initiative, with a readiness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • Account Management: Experience in client account management and a proactive approach to solving challenges and driving client success.
